Two yellow labs had destroyed the natural lawn — the yard needed to handle heavy dog traffic every single day and still look great year-round with zero seasonal upkeep.
Anyone with dogs or heavy shade knows how hard it is to keep a natural lawn looking good. This project was the right fit for artificial turf: approximately 1,200 square feet, fully cut and graded so the yard pitches away from the house for proper drainage. We removed the failing lawn, prepared the base correctly, and installed premium artificial turf throughout the backyard. The homeowner kept his existing sprinkler system in place — not for watering, but to rinse the turf down on hot days or if odor becomes an issue from the dogs. The result is a yard that looks perfect every day of the year. Over roughly six years, the installation pays for itself against the ongoing cost of watering, mowing, aerating, and reseeding a natural lawn that never would have thrived here anyway.
